From the first time I rode my bicycle past this scene along the Empire State Rail Trail, I knew I had to paint it! A few weeks later, I loaded up my bike with painting gear and returned, finding that this beautiful fall color had matured in the meantime. It was chilly and windy, but I was able to brace my easel against a fence to get the job done!
